Lean consultant training


Development of the internal lean consultant/specialist team at profession (lean methods and tools, project management) and skill (moderator - communication skills, treating conflicts, social skills) level.

For the implementation of lean projects, for monitoring, sustaining results it is recommended to employ internal consultant resources (Kaizen manager, Lean manager, specialist, process developer, TPS coordinator...).

The most important tasks entailed by the application of lean are in many cases given to a „skilfully communicating" development engineer, usually in addition to his/her everyday work.

In order to ensure that after the initial momentum the commitment to lean will not decrease, and the results will be sustained in the long-term, it is worth creating the position of Internal Lean Consultant (coordinator, specialist, coach, manager). It is important that the staff members leading the developments, in addition to the professional qualifications (WHAT) – seeing the composition of the tasks – shall be prepared in terms of skills (HOW) as well.
